So I finally attempted my first overnight oats to see what the big deal was. What is this cold oat trend and what’s all the rage? Well.. First off it was so easy and breakfast is ready when you wake up. You have to be into the cold oats thing which I like but I can see how maybe one would want it hot. It’s so versatile and will keep you full all morning. It was also delicious. I’m officially a fan.
- 1/2 Cup gluten-free steel-cut oats
- 3/4 Cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1/2 of a banana
Add all ingredients in container of choice and refrigerate overnight. Enjoy cold.
